Kavi Gandhi, Editor, Writer, Multimedia Artist

Kavi Gandhi is proud to call himself an Indian-English-Kenyan-American: Food maniac, politely sarcastic, fast runner, and dog-obsessor. With his diverse cultural background, it is no surprise that some do a double-take when they find out Kavi was born and raised in the not-so-exciting town of West Chester, PA. Once, as part of a Brown & White interview, Upper School Principal T. Veda told Kavi that she wasn't too fond of students being involved in 400 different activities. If that was somehow enforced, Kavi would no longer be a Westtown student. A member of the Class of 2021, current Student Body President, Peer Tutoring Program Head, B&W editor, admissions ambassador, jazz percussionist, Quaker Leadership program member, and former cross country and robotics teams captain, Kavi has just enough free time on his hands to manage a non-profit organization outside of school. Apart from in this moment and when he's flexing the Getty Images photographs of himself, Kavi is pretty humble and likes to learn more about others and their stories. In every interaction, Kavi is trying to either learn something new or have a good laugh, and overall, is motivated by nothing other than pure love for his passions.
