PROFILE:

Hi, I’m Lyon. I am currently a junior here at Westtown School and I am running for SBP. I have enjoyed my time here and have learned so much about this community. Due to that, I want to give back and bring about positive change for the student body. As your SBP I will make sure to plan fun and memorable events as well as listen to the students and faculty here on campus through active communication and community engagement.

GOALS

Memorable events

As SBP, I plan to make sure I organize fun and entertaining events for the student body including things such as dances, sports games, and collections. I will achieve these results by setting achievable goals, proper budgeting, listening to feedback, and encouraging volunteer participation.

Collaboration with administration

I aim to increase honest and open communication between the students and staff here at Westtown on topics related to campus life. This can be done through things such as well-structured proposals, more channels of communication, and showing active listening and professionalism.

Extracurricular Enrichment

I hope to be able to work more closely with the clubs here at Westtown to help them bring more events and fundraisers to our community. I plan use effective communication to find the goals of various clubs and help them write proposals.
